My passion for creating user-centric products started long before I officially became a UX Designer. Throughout my career, I found myself taking on projects that had the potential to positively impact people’s lives.

Right now, I’m working at the Condominium Authority of Ontario, where I design web apps to enhance the user experience for the condo community and promote consumer protection. Since joining in August 2023, I’ve launched 2 projects with two more slated for late 2024 release.

In university, I studied Mechanical Engineering where I partook in 3 co-op experiences that I sparked my passion for design. After graduation, I joined SharkNinja as an R&D Mechanical Engineer. There, I not only led the development of the Ninja Thirsti but also discovered my passion for user testing and UI design. It was a rewarding journey that helped me blend engineering with user experience, shaping my path in the UX field.

An Outsider’s Perspective of Who I am…

  • Noa’s performance … was superb, not a superlative that I use all that often.  Noa executed well on both testing and design and, critically, Noa always had a valid reason for a design detail when questioned. I really appreciate the thoughtful approach and all of her contributions.

    -Principal Design Engineer & Mentor

  • Noa consistently thought of ways to improve our process to attract and grow the best talent… and was able to do all of this while also balancing a very fast-paced, technically complex, and high visibility project.

    -Engineering Manager & Mentor

  • Noa was integral to the successful development of the business’s upcoming flagship product. Noa will undoubtedly become a crucial contributor in any role thanks to her ability to learn, flexibility to adapt, and desire to succeed.

    -Engineer & Former Teammate

  • I saw Noa take charge on a design project that she brought all the way from the research phase into a multi-variable testing phase, all the way to the production phase. She had to work closely with the industrial design team and was extremely thorough in keeping aesthetics and the consumer in mind, while also not sacrificing on the effectiveness and the manufacturability of her designs. Working with Noa is always a really positive experience and any organization would be lucky to have her.

    -Former Co-Worker & Team-mate

  • Noa was a highly organized team member who designed and implemented systems within the R&D team to allow us to function more efficiently.

    -Engineer & Former Teammate

  • Noa was quick to jump into every task assigned and consistently asked for more work, always wearing a contagious smile… Her work was consistently organized and well written.

    -Former Manager
